Three-Day Farm is located in Lexington, Kentucky (Fayette County) on Leestown Road five minutes past Masterson Station Park and ten minutes from the Kentucky Horse Park. We are a boarding, training and active Eventing show barn established on a 70 acre facility with ample turn-outs and conditioning areas for you and your horse. Our large (130' x 250') arena and jump field, with a variety of fences, are available for your training purposes.
Owner and trainer, Tanya Davis is a certified British Horse Society Instructor. She embarked on her career with horses at a young age and has been teaching horse and rider for over twenty years. With a United States Pony Club background, she decided to head to England in the early 1990's to complete her British Horse Society Exams and had the opportunity to train with Christopher & Jane Bartle at The Yorkshire Riding Centre.
Her competition experience in Eventing started at twelve years of age. She has competed multiple horses through the years, with experience working with different types of horses. In the late 1990's, she decided to return to Christopher & Jane Bartle's Yorkshire Riding Centre with her Irish Thoroughbred, Brindalus, to continue her training and education. While in England, Tanya had the opportunity to compete her horse throughout the U.K. In 2000 she relocated to Lexington, Kentucky, and has continued her eventing career riding through Intermediate & Third Level Dressage while training and coaching riders of all ages.
Three-Day Farm is geared toward assisting riders in the development of complete equine responsibility. Stable management throughout the year is stressed with detail and focus on the safety of horse and rider. To further develop well-rounded equine knowledge a series of horse care, stable management and competition lectures is provided.
Whether you are an established Eventing and/or Dressage rider and aim to run a CIC/CCI in the future or you are a young rider/adult amateur wanting to further your knowledge, your training needs can be met at Three-Day Farm. Many of our students that have trained at Three-Day Farm have begun their Eventing lives here, and we encourage riders of all ages and levels to join us. We have an extensive cross-country schooling and competition schedule to help you reach your goals. All training programs are tailored to the individual horse & rider.
